Wow, just two days left! I think Monday will be kind of hectic: I have to pick up my books at some point, and I have a meeting with my advisor already. Actually, maybe it's not that hectic, lol.

Heather, you're not doing dance? And it's a good thing I wasn't along for the trip that you took, as I would have probably died as soon as I set foot in the house. Either that or I would have just been cleaning nonstop. I hope that lady gets better, though.

Today I might make myself do some last-minute studying. Or maybe I will take a trip to the bookstore or something. Dunno.

Wish it would warm up a little. Better yet, I wish that there was a gigantic snow-storm Monday morning and they cancel all of the classes! :P

Hana, have a nice flight! I just wanted to let you know that we won't have our fridge for the first few weeks. We can't fit it in the car (I don't know if you know this, but the van "died" this summer, so we traded it in...for a smaller vehicle), but my parents will be bringing it down sometime in Feb. Since we're so close to the kitchen I didn't think it would be a big deal.

oooo, also, Hana, what is our room number?? I have no idea...Sabrina never told me. I can't believe Sabrina never told me the room number, that we had a private bathroom, she never even told me how to get the keys (since they're office is closed on the weekends).

Do you guys think the bookstore will be open on Sunday? I hope so.

Wow, time really has passed quickly. I can't believe we start classes in just a few more days. I'm already paranoid about my schedule: I have time between 12 and 2 for lunch, so if any or all of you guys have a break around then, we should go to lunch. Julie and Hana, I really want to check out your new room--a private bathroom is really awesome!

Also, I will probably not be around on Tuesdays and Thursdays this semester as I have just one class in the mornings (I have to drive 30 min each way just for a one hour class! Ridiculous! Lol), but I will be around every Mon, Wed, and Fri. This schedule is so bizarre...

I went to Barnes and Noble on Monday with my parents and Neil and I found these magazines that are just so funny. One is called "Shojo Beat" and the other is "Newtype," and they are both filled with girly Japanese manga and news about what is "hot" in Japan at the moment. They are so addicting! I like this one cartoon (manga) that is about this "emperor" of a school who turns out to be gay! It's so full of middle school drama that I think my IQ level drops a few points with each page I read, lol. But I love it. :)

Does anyone know how Liz is doing? I don't think I saw her update, but I could have missed it.

What else, what else...oh, this is funny: Yesterday, I lost two of my dogs (Rocky and Thor) because the scooted passed me as I was opening the gate (I couldn't stop them from running away because I didn't want the puppies to escape too). So, figuring they would come back relatively soon, I put the puppies on their leashes and walked them out back through the very overgrown foresty thing that is filled with these really old stone walls and stuff. Well, as we got further into the woods, Rocky and Thor found us, but then took off again running. Later on, they still had not come back and I had to leave the house to get Neil, and I look up at the road, and there they were, in the gutter. I trudged my way up there and what did I find? Thor is pigging out on someone's old cooked chicken! I have no idea where he got it, but it was pretty nasty. It probably fell off the garbage truck or something...Ugh!

Oh, you know what I found at Target? I was thinking that you guys might be interested in them, as you are not allowed to have candles in the room. They are these little oil-filled containers that you put wooden sticks in that soak up the scented oil and make the room smell nice. The are really cool, and I'm sure that they are probably allowed in the dorms, as you don't have to light it or anything.

Well, I have to do another chapter in the MCAT review and then go outside (can you believe that the temperature was 4 degrees this morning! I turned into a popsicle!). I hope it's warmer out now...

Going to gibbler's sounds like a good time. I'm bringing my swimsuit in case we are going to do some hot tubbing. Do I get to go the bar, too, since I'm 21?? Guess we don't have to think up any big birthday thing then...but maybe we could still make a cake for them or something? We can figure that out when we get back. Uh oh, so since Gibbler got us x-mas presents are we, in a sense, giving her two presents (x-mas and birthday)...? Hmmm.

Have any of you taken either Systems of Ecology or Women and Health? If so, what did you think of it. Also, has anyone taken a class with the sociology professor, Corrodo (or something...it starts with a C at least) and is s/he any good? I still have to choose one more course...

Hana, what all did Sabrina or Res Life tell you about our room? Specifically, what's the deal with the bathroom? If it really is a private bathroom, then do they supply toilet paper, cleaning products, trash can, etc.? If we know in advance, we can arrange to buy and bring things for it before we get to school. Let me know what you know and I will email Sabrina with any remaining questions.

I started working on my scrapbook for the fall last night. I didn't realize it would be as long an undertaking as it is turning out to be. Good thing we still have a week and a half, cause there's lots I still need to do around here (besides the scrapbook, haha)

Heather, were you going to do that pilates class at school this semester? I was kinda thinking about it, if its on a good night and all.

Tonight I am cooking dinner, a dish I found in Vegetarian Times called quinoia (a middle eastern grain) with beans and corn. The other night I made a vegan macroni and cheese caserole and it was surprisingly delicious!

I went to my grandma house because of my grandpa. I coould not see him today becuase he was outside.
he broke his 3 rips and he cut his forhead like 2 inches. i guess. but it is not good when grandma and my Texas aunt told me that but not dying it.. you know..
he is 80 years old and he broke 3 rips and he just walking around and not staying at home so many people worry about him.
well I was not happy to go there but when i came back from there, I was not feeling well about him. you know i am kind of worry.
